Judith Farley Killed in Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Katy Freeway (Interstate 10)

Houston, Texas (July 15, 2020) – The woman who was critically injured Thursday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in Houston has died, according to authorities.

Judith Farley, 78, succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, July 11.

The crash happened at about 4:50 p.m. on July 9, at 14800 Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) service road.

Police said Farley was driving a white Chrysler PT Cruiser westbound on the freeway when she failed to control her speed and rear-ended a white Lexus NX. The impact caused the Lexus to rear-end a white Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Farley was taken to the hospital, where she died on Saturday.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
