Karen Yager Killed in Oak Forest Two-Vehicle Crash on 43rd Street at Cheshire Lane

Oak Forest, Texas (July 30, 2020) – A woman was killed in a DUI crash Monday evening in Oak Forest, according to police.

The deadly crash happened at about 5:25 p.m., on July 27, in the 1500 block of 43rd Street at the intersection with Cheshire Lane.

Police said Esvin Crispin Aguilar, 28, was driving a green Jeep Wrangler at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a gray Honda Civic driven by 46-year-old Karen Yager, of Oak Forest, who was attempting to cross the intersection.

Yager was pronounced dead at the scene.

Aguilar was arrested and has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The crash remains under investigation.
