Karina Ayala Killed in Canyon Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 60
Canyon, Texas (October 12, 2021) – A woman was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Canyon, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 5:40 a.m., on Highway 60 near 1st Street.
Police said Karina Nichole Ayala, 19, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu eastbound on the highway when she collided with a westbound semi-truck that was turning left, crossing eastbound Highway 60 proper.
Ayala was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
