Katie Palmer Killed and John Palmer Injured in Denison Pedestrian Accident on Glenwood Drive

Denison, Texas (April 22, 2020) – A woman was killed, and her husband was injured Tuesday morning after they were hit by a vehicle in Denison, according to troopers.

The accident happened around 8:00 a.m. April 21, on Glenwood Drive.

DPS said Katie Palmer, of Denison, and her husband John Palmer, were walking on the edge of Glenwood Drive when they were struck by a pickup truck.

Katie was airlifted to a Plano hospital where she later died.

John was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

Investigators said the pickup driver would face charges. 

The crash remains under investigation.
