Kelvin Dewayne Perkins Killed in Harrison County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 43

Harrison County, Texas (November 20, 2019) – One person was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash, south of Marshall, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash was reported on Tuesday, November 19, on State Highway 43.

Troopers said Kelvin Dewayne Perkins, 42, of Marshall, was driving southbound in the northbound lane when he collided with a truck-tractor towing a semi-trailer.

Perkins was pronounced at the scene.

The truck driver, Gopinder Singh Mangat, 36, of Brampton, Ontario, was taken to Good Shepard Medical Center in Marshall where he was treated and released.

The crash remains under investigation.
