Kevin Henderson Dies in Lakeway Plane Crash near Lakeway Boulevard

Lakeway, Texas (March 15, 2019) – A man was killed while another person was hospitalized following a plane crash that took place Wednesday afternoon in Lakeway, according to the Lakeway Police Department.
The crash was reported at about 1:42 p.m. March 13 in the 3100 block of Lakeway Boulevard near Lakeway Airpark.
Bystanders including firefighters retrieved two occupants of the plane from the wreckage.
One occupant, identified as Kevin Wayne Henderson of San Marcos, was taken to Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Lakeway, where he was later pronounced deceased. The other occupant was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas and was in critical condition.
Authorities are currently working to find out what caused the plane to crash.
