Luna was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The troopers are investigating the crash.

We pass our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kevin Luna.

Most motorcycle crashes are caused by negligent drivers who don’t keep a proper lookout or fail to yield the right-of-way. Because motorcyclists are vulnerable, their injuries are usually severe, often suffering from road rash, broken bones, brain injuries, amputations, or spinal cord injuries. In some cases, the accident results in death.
