Kyle Lee Nettles and James Michael Butts Killed in Midland County Two-Vehicle Crash on Briarwood

Midland County (April 26, 2023) – Two people were killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Midland County, according to officials.

The fatal crash occurred just before 7:00 a.m., April 25, in the 7200 block of Briarwood.

Officials said Kyle Lee Nettles, 28, was driving eastbound in the westbound lane when his Ford Fusion collided with a westbound Toyota Camry driven by James Michael Butts.

Both Nettles and Butts were killed in the crash.

No other details were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
