Kynishia Roberts and Baby Injured in Farrsville Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 63

Farrsville, Texas (April 10, 2021) – Three people were injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Farrsville, according to a local news source.

The crash happened shortly before 8:00 p.m., April 9, on State Highway 63, about 6 miles west of Burkeville.

DPS said Gloria Evans, 74, of Newton County, was leaving a private driveway when her 2015 Mazda passenger vehicle was hit by a 2011 Dodge passenger vehicle.

Evans was airlifted to a hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana, with critical injuries.

The Dodge driver, Kynishia Roberts, 30, of Burkeville, and her 6-month-old baby were taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
