Lake Travis ISD Police Officer Injured in Spicewood Hit-and-Run Crash at Rough Hollow Elementary School

Spicewood, Texas – A Lake Travis ISD officer was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Thursday in Spicewood, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on January 11, at Rough Hollow Elementary School.

Authorities said a driver was looking at their cellphone when they hit a school district police officer who was working to control traffic during drop-off outside of the school.

The driver fled the scene after the accident.

The officer sustained minor injuries in the crash.
