Lanika Michelle Russell Hit, Killed by Vehicle on FM 346 near Bullard
Lanika Michelle Russell ID’d as Woman Killed in Bullard Pedestrian Accident on FM 346
Bullard, Texas (December 11, 2019) – The woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night about five miles southwest of Bullard, have been identified as Lanika Michelle Russell, 35, of Bullard, according to the DPS.
The deadly accident happened around 10:10 p.m., December 8, on Farm-to-Market Road 346.
DPS said a pickup was traveling southbound on FM 346 when it became disabled. The driver and passenger got out to push the vehicle.
Dakota Aaron Kinnett, 24, of Bullard, was driving on FM 346 and didn’t see the disabled vehicle.
Kinnett swerved to the right to avoid striking the vehicle and ended up hitting Russell, who was helping push the disabled vehicle.
Russell was the passenger in the pickup. She was taken to a Tyler hospital where she later died.
The crash remains under investigation.
