Leathon Baxley Killed in Conroe Motorcycle Crash at FM 3083 East and FM 1484

Conroe, Texas (August 3, 2021) – According to the police, a man was killed Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Conroe.

The deadly accident happened around 3:50 p.m., August 1, at the intersection of N. FM 3083 East and FM 1484.

Police said Leathon Kent Baxley was riding a motorcycle when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was driving through the intersection after the light changed to green.

Baxley was killed in the crash.

A woman who was riding on the back of the motorcycle was taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center for treatment.

No further details regarding the crash were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
