Leigha Skye Pringle, Diane Kemp Webster Killed in Head-On Crash on State Highway 6 in Abilene

Leigha Skye Pringle and Diane Kemp Webster ID’d as Two Killed in Abilene Car Accident on State Highway 6 near DeLeon
Abilene, Texas (March 12, 2019) – The two people who were killed Friday morning in a traffic accident in Abilene has been identified as Leigha Skye Pringle, 24, of Dublin and Diane Kemp Webster, 62, of Richmond, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The tragic wreck took place at around at 1:31 a.m. Friday, March 8 on State Highway 6, five miles southeast of DeLeon.
According to the DPS, a 1997 Ford Explorer driven by Pringle, was traveling southeast on the highway when it veered into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a 2018 Ford Flex driven by Willie Earl Webster, 63.
Pringle, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Also killed in the crash was Diane Kemp Webster. Webster was wearing a seatbelt.
Willie Earl Webster along with Zakiyah Bailey, 15, Miliyah Bailey, 6, Darian Sims, 5, and Craig Hall, 12,  sustained major injuries and were transported to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth.
As per the DPS report, Webster was wearing a seatbelt, Darian, Zakiyah and Miliyah were not, and it is unknown whether Hall had his seatbelt on.
The crash remains under investigation.
