Lesley Jayne Hansen ID’d as Woman Killed in Lumberton Pedestrian Accident on U.S. 96 at Boardwark
Lumberton, Texas (January 2, 2020) – The woman who was fatally hit by a vehicle on New Year’s Eve in Lumberton has been identified as Lesley Jayne Hansen, 30, according to the police.
The deadly crash happened just before 9:00 p.m. December 31, in the area of U.S. 96 at Boardwark.
Police said Hansen was crossing U.S. 96 at Boardwark when she was hit by a 2019 Nissan Kick SUV driven by a 74-year-old woman.
Hansen was taken to a Beaumont hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
