Leslie Doleshal Dies Weeks After Car Crash on South MoPac Expressway in Austin

Leslie Doleshal Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on South MoPac Expressway

Austin, Texas (July 9, 2021) – The 77-year-old man who was injured last month in a two-vehicle crash in Austin has died, according to the police.

Leslie Doleshal was pronounced dead on July 3.

The fatal crash happened on June 5, in the 11100 block of South MoPac Expressway.

Police said a black Toyota Tundra was traveling on MoPac Expressway while Doleshal was exiting a private drive in his Honda Civic.

Doleshal failed to yield the right of way to the Toyota and the Civic was struck on the driver’s side by the Toyota.

The driver and passenger in the Toyota and Doleshal were taken to a local hospital where Doleshal died on July 3.

No other information was available.

An investigation is underway.
