Lindsay Joffrion ID’d as Woman Killed in Randall County Crash on FM 1151

Randall County, Texas (July 10, 2019) – Lindsay Joffrion, 31, of Canyon, has been identified as the woman who was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Randall County.

The fatal crash happened on FM 1151 Monday, July 8 on FM 1151, about eight miles south of Amarillo.

Authorities said Joffrion was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic westbound on FM 1151 while a 2019 Nissan Titan driven by Eduardo Estrella, 22 of Amarillo, was heading eastbound on FM 1151.

Witnesses told authorities that the Chevrolet was repeatedly crossing over the center line nearly hitting multiple vehicles before the collision.

The Chevrolet crossed over into the eastbound lane where it collided head-on with Estrella’s pickup.

Joffrion was declared dead at the scene.

Estrella sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Northwest Texas Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
