Lisa Rosenstein Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on North Loop 1604 West

San Antonio, Texas (May 7, 2021) – A jogger was killed in a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning in Shavano Park, according to the SAPD.

The deadly accident happened around 7:17 a.m., May 2, in the North Loop 1604 West eastbound access road between Lockhill Selma Road and NW Military Highway.

Police said Lisa Rosenstein, 53, was jogging westbound on the southern shoulder of the highway when an eastbound sedan drifted into the shoulder and struck her.

The sedan driver fled the scene after the accident.

Rosenstein was thrown into a grass shoulder and was pronounced dead at the scene.

If found, the sedan driver will be charged with failure to stop and render aid resulting in death.

The police are investigating the accident.
