Lois Jean Butler Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Marshall Two-Vehicle Crash on Elysian Field Road
Marshall, Texas (January 16, 2021) – One person was killed, and two others were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Marshall, according to police.
The fatal crash happened around 6:50 a.m., January 14, in the 4900 block of Elysian Field Road, near Marshall Pottery.
Police said Lois Jean Butler, 63, was driving southbound when a northbound car crossed over into the southbound lane and crashed head-on into her car.
Butler was killed in the crash.
Butler’s passenger and the other driver were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers said charges are pending an investigation.
The police are investigating the crash.
