Luis Caudillo Arrested after Sparks Dog Attack near Bunyun Way

Sparks, Texas (June 10, 2019) – A dog owner was arrested on Friday following an incident where his pack of dogs attacked and injured a woman in Sparks Wednesday morning, according to a local news source.

The incident happened in the 12700 block of Bunyun Way on Wednesday, June 5.

According to the news source, a pack of dogs entered a woman’s yard and attacked her dog. The woman went into the yard to try and save her dog but was also bitten repeatedly by the pack.

The Sparks woman was taken to a hospital where she underwent surgery. She remained in serious condition.

The owner of the pack, identified as Luis Caudillo, 23, was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on Friday on charges of attack by dog with serious bodily injury. He was also cited for failure to confine animals and failure to register and vaccinate animals.

The investigation ongoing.
