Lukebra Allison Killed in Motorcycle Crash on U.S. 79 in Panola County

Lukebra Allison Killed in Panola County Motorcycle Crash at U.S. 79 and CR 329  

Panola County, Texas (September 15, 2021) – The man who was killed Thursday night in a motorcycle crash in Panola County has been identified as Lukebra Allison, 42, of Carthage, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash happened around 10:35 p.m., September 9, at the intersection of U.S. 79 and County Road 329.

DPS said a motorcycle was traveling southbound on U.S. 79 at a high rate of speed while a truck trailer was stopped at a stop sign and was attempting to turn left onto the highway.

The motorcycle struck the left side of the truck tractor, causing it to come to a stop underneath it.

The motorcyclist, Allison, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver, Fabian Chapa-Chapa, 44, and passenger, Crystal Chapa, 20, both of Rosenberg, were treated and released at the scene.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
