Luz Garcia Hospitalized after Houston Crash on Reveille Street

Houston, Texas (August 12, 2022) – The woman who was injured in a hit-and-run crash last month in southeast Houston has been identified as Luz Garcia, 46.

The incident happened at around 9:25 p.m. on July 18, in the 3700 block of Reveille Street.

Authorities said Ms. Garcia was previously involved in a minor crash at the intersection at the Reveille Street. As she took photos of the initial crash, she walked toward the sidewalk and was struck by a white Chevrolet Camaro.

Ms. Garcia sustained a broken collar bone and dislocated shoulder in the crash. She was taken to a local hospital and was later released.

The driver of the Camaro did not stop to render to Ms. Garcia and continued driving northbound on Reveille Street. There was no description of the suspect driver at this time.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
