Macario Hernandez Arrested For Hit-and-Run Accident in Kyle

Macario Hernandez Arrested After Kyle Car Accident That Killed Two Teens on Windy Hill Road and Interstate 35
Kyle, Texas (May 1, 2019) – The hit-and-run driver who caused a traffic accident that killed two teens Saturday night in Kyle has been arrested.
The fatal accident occurred at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday, April 27 near Windy Hill Road and Interstate 35.
According to police, Macario M. Hernandez, 61, was driving a Dodge truck on the road when he crashed into a Honda sedan carrying with five occupants.
Hayden Weissman, 18, and Peyton Weissman, 16, were among the five occupants of the sedan. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The other three occupants of the sedan were transported to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Hernandez fled the scene on foot but was located. He was arrested and is facing two counts of the accident causing death and three counts of the accident causing serious bodily injury
The crash remains under investigation.
