Mailman Injured in Rear-End Crash on Van Buren Street in San Angelo

One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on Van Buren Street

San Angelo, Texas (January 14, 2020) – A mailman was injured Monday afternoon in a rear-end crash in west San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash occurred on Monday, January 13, in the 2500 block of Van Buren Street.

Police said a mail van was parked on the side of the road when a southbound white Ford F-350 rear-ended it. The impact pushed the van off the roadway. 

The mailman was bleeding from a head wound. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the F-350 was cited for failure to control speed.

The crash remains under investigation.
