Police Investigating Fatal 2901 West Fuqua Crash

Houston, Texas( March 2, 2017) – A 56-year-old male rider died Tuesday afternoon in crash with a pickup truck at 2901 West Fuqua
The incident took place at about 3: p.m. Tuesday between a green SanYang motorcycle and red Ford F-150 pickup truck near the intersection of Almeda Genoa Road and West Fuqua.
As per the report, the rider was heading northbound on Almeda Genoa when he ran the red light at the intersection and struck the pickup truck which was turning southbound onto Almeda Genoa from westbound Fuqua.
HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported the rider to Ben Taub General Hospital where he died Wednesday, March 1. His name was not released pending notification of family.
The investigation is ongoing.
