Man and Child Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Freeway (I-45)

Houston, Texas (June 21, 2020) – A man and a child were killed Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Department.

The deadly accident took place on June 20, on North Freeway (Interstate 45) near Cypresswood Drive.

Deputies said the man and the child were attempting to cross the southbound lanes of the freeway when they were struck by a vehicle.

Both victims were killed in the crash.

The crash closed the southbound lanes of the freeway for several hours.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
