Man Critically Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash on Prue Road at Babcock Road

San Antonio, Texas (January 1, 2022) – A man was critically injured Wednesday evening in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio, according to the police.

The accident happened around 7:30 p.m., December 29, in the 6500 block of Prue Road at the intersection of Babcock Road.

Police said a Toyota Corolla was stopped on Babcock Road and was waiting to turn left. The driver started to make her turn on a green protected arrow and struck the man who was crossing the street.

The man was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident. She was not intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
