Man and Dog Killed in South Austin Pedestrian Accident on I-35 near Riverside Drive

Austin, Texas (July 24, 2019) – A man and a dog were killed Wednesday morning in a pedestrian accident in South Austin, according to the police.

The deadly accident took place on I-35 near Riverside Drive.

Police said a man and his dog were hit by multiple vehicles on the interstate.

Authorities received several calls about the man and his dog on the interstate before the scene turned deadly.

Both the man and his dog were killed in the accident.

All the involved drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

The crash closed all northbound lanes of I-35 for several hours.

An investigation is ongoing.
