Man Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at San Pedro Avenue and W. Elmira Street

San Antonio, Texas (November 1, 2021) – A man was injured early Sunday morning after being struck by a suspected intoxicated driver in San Antonio, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 2:15 a.m., October 31, at the intersection of San Pedro Avenue and W. Elmira Street.

Police said the man was crossing W. Elmira Street when a car that was turning onto W. Elmira Street from San Pedro Avenue struck him.

The man was taken to a local hospital with possibly a broken leg.

The driver of the vehicle, a woman, was being investigated for DWI at the scene. It is unclear if she was arrested.

The accident closed the intersection.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
