Man Seriously Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Grissom Road

San Antonio, Texas (April 9, 2021) – A man was seriously injured Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle in San Antonio’s West Side, according to police.

The accident occurred around 8:50 p.m., April 7, in the 7900 block of Grissom Road, near Culebra Road and Loop 410.

Police said the man had left Cathedral Rock Park and was crossing the road, outside of a crosswalk, from southbound to northbound when he was struck by a vehicle.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident.

The man was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
