Man Hospitalized after Northwest Austin Pedestrian Crash on North Mopac Expressway
Austin, Texas (March 10, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after he was hit by a train on Saturday morning in northwest Austin.
The Austin-Travis County EMS responded at about 11:48 a.m. March 9, to the crash in the 6000 block of North Mopac Expressway.
Medics said the victim was a man in his 50s.
The victim sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center.
Details on the events leading up to the crash were not immediately available.
The authorities are investigating the incident.
