Man Killed in Haltom City Train-Pedestrian Accident on Denton Highway near Watauga Road

Haltom City, Texas (January 28, 2021) – A man was fatally hit by a train Wednesday afternoon in Haltom City, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 4:15 p.m., January 27, in the 6100 block of Denton Highway near Watauga Road.

Police said the man was on the train tracks when he was struck by a Union Pacific train.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

No injuries were reported inside the train.

The police are investigating the crash.
