Man Hit, Killed by Vehicle on North Sam Houston Parkway in NE Harris County

Man Killed in NE Harris County Pedestrian Accident on North Sam Houston Parkway

Harris County, Texas (December 14, 2021) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning in northeast Harris County, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident happened just after 5:00 a.m., in the 10700 block of the N. Sam Houston Parkway between Wilson Road and John Ralston.

Deputies said a man was driving eastbound on the feeder road when he struck a guardrail, stopped in one of the main lanes, and stood beside his vehicle.

A second vehicle struck the stalled vehicle. A third vehicle struck the initial driver, who was standing beside his car.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The crash closed the eastbound lanes of Sam Houston Parkway.

The deputies are investigating the crash.
