Man in Wheelchair Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Texas 6

Houston, Texas (December 2, 2020) – A man in a wheelchair was fatally hit by a vehicle Tuesday night in Houston, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened shortly before 9:00 p.m., December 1, in the 2100 block of Texas 6, just east of George Bush Park.

Officials said the man was in a wheelchair and was attempting to cross the highway outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by a northbound vehicle.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
