Man Hurt in Bexar County Crash on Interstate 35 near Lytle

Atascosa County, Texas (January 23, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision involving a big rig near Lytle in Bexar County on Tuesday night.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck occurred at about 10:20 p.m. January 22 on Interstate 35 near Mile Marker 133.
Deputies said an 18-wheeler and two other vehicles were involved in the accident. The crash caused the 18-wheeler to catch fire.  The big rig driver was unhurt in the crash.
A man driving one of the cars was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash caused a closure of I-35 near Luckey Road as the scene was examined and cleared.
The crash is under investigation.
