Man Dies in San Antonio Crash at Ackerman Road and Dietrich Road

San Antonio, Texas (June 28, 2019) – A man was killed Friday morning in a traffic accident in San Antonio, according to a local news source.

The tragic accident occurred at around 6:00 a.m. at the intersection of Ackerman Road and Dietrich Road, located near Loop 410 and I-10.

Authorities said the man was driving his pickup truck when for an unknown reason he crashed into the trailer of an 18-wheeler.

The driver of the pickup truck died in the wreck. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

Authorities closed the intersection as they investigated the cause of the crash.
