One Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on I-35 near William Cannon Drive

Austin, Texas (October 1, 2019) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in south Austin, according to authorities.

The crash took place on I-35, south of William Cannon Drive.

Officials said a semi-truck hit the rear of a car on the highway.

A man was killed in the crash.

The crash closed the southbound lanes for several hours and drivers were detoured onto the frontage road.

An investigation is underway.
