Man Killed, 2 Women Injured in Cleburne Pedestrian Accident on Huron Street

Cleburne, Texas (May 17, 2022) – A man was killed and two women were injured Sunday night in a pedestrian crash in Cleburne, according to police.

The deadly accident occurred just before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday 15 in the 100 block of Huron Street.

A driver reportedly had been in a disturbance before driving off in his vehicle. The driver then hit three pedestrians near a home.

One of the pedestrians, only identified as a man, died at the scene. One woman sustained significant injuries while another had only minor injuries.

The man driving the vehicle fled the scene after the crash. His vehicle was described as a single-cab pickup truck.

Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
