One Killed in La Porte Bicycle Accident on Fairmont Parkway
La Porte, Texas (April 12, 2019) – A man was killed Thursday morning in a bicycle accident in La Porte, according to the police.
The accident was reported at about 11:00 a.m. April 11, in the 10800 block of Fairmont Parkway.
Police said the man unlawfully crossed the street and was hit by a commercial semi-truck and trailer
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was later declared dead. His name has not been disclosed.
The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The police are conducting the investigation.
