Pedestrian Killed in Pleasant Grove Hit-and-Run Accident on Samuell Boulevard near North Jim Miller Road
Pleasant Grove, Texas (April 9, 2019) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run accident early Tuesday morning in the Buckner Terrace area in Pleasant Grove, according to the Dallas police.
The deadly accident happened at about 4:10 a.m. in the 5800 block of Samuell Boulevard, near North Jim Miller Road.
Police said a dark-colored compact car was traveling eastbound on Samuell Boulevard when it made a turn, ran off the road and hit the man who was standing in the grass.
The driver stopped briefly after the accident but then fled the scene.
The man was taken to the hospital where he later died. His name has not been disclosed.
No further details were provided.
The police are conducting the investigation.
