Man Killed in San Antonio 18-Wheeler Crash on Loop 410 near Pearsall Road

San Antonio, Texas (March 8, 2022) – A man was killed early Monday morning in an 18-wheeler crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 3:45 a.m., on Loop 410 southbound, near the Pearsall Road exit.

Police said the man was driving a dark-colored SUV when it rear-ended an 18-wheeler that had pulled off onto the side of the highway.

The man was pinned inside his SUV under the back of the 18-wheeler. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The 18-wheeler driver was uninjured in the crash.

No additional information regarding the crash was provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
