Man Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on S International Boulevard in Weslaco

47-Year-Old Man Killed in Weslaco Crash on S International Boulevard; Clayton Neuhaus Arrested

Weslaco, Texas (October 1, 2022) – A man was killed and another man was arrested following a two-car crash in Weslaco on Thursday night, according to the Weslaco Police Department.

The deadly crash happened at around 11:26 p.m. Thursday, September 29, in the 1300 block of S. International Boulevard.

Weslaco police said a red Ford Focus, driven by a 47-year-old man, was exiting the parking lot of Frankie Flav’s and was attempting to turn northbound onto International Boulevard when it was hit by a white Ford F150 Raptor, driven by Clayton Wayne Neuhaus, 25.

The white Ford F150 Raptor continued to travel southbound and stopped after hitting a second object.

The driver of the red Ford Focus was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

Neuhaus was arrested on a charge of intoxication manslaughter, a second-degree felony. His bail was set at $75,000.
