Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Addicks Clodine in West Harris County

Man Killed in West Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Addicks Clodine

Harris County, Texas (February 6, 2020) – A man in his 50s or 60s was killed Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash in west Harris County, according to the deputies.

The accident took place just before 7:30 a.m. in the 3600 block of Addicks Clodine, just north of the Westpark Tollway and west of Highway 6.

Deputies said the man was struck by a vehicle on the roadway.

The driver fled the scene without rendering aid.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed.

The authorities have not released a description of the suspect vehicle.

The accident closed the southbound lanes of Addicks Clodine.

Motorists were urged to use an alternate route.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
