Man Killed in San Antonio Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on E. Houston Street

San Antonio, Texas (August 6, 2020) – A man in his 30s was fatally hit by a hit-and-run driver early Thursday morning in San Antonio’s Eastside, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around midnight in the 4000 block of E. Houston Street.

Police said the man was walking across the street from the Valero to his motel room at the Knights Inn after buying beer and cigars when he was struck by a white sedan.

The sedan fled the scene after the accident.

The man was found lying in the street with severe head trauma. He was taken to SAMMC, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The authorities are looking for the suspect driver.

The police are investigating the crash.
