Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on East Freeway near Sheldon Road

Houston, Texas (July 15, 2021) – A man was killed Wednesday night in a hit-and-run accident in East Houston, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident happened just before midnight, July 14, on the East Freeway near Sheldon Road.

Deputies said they received calls about a naked man on the freeway, but before they arrived, the man had been hit by a black Ford pickup.

The Ford fled the scene after the accident.

The man was killed in the accident. His name has not been released.

The accident closed several lanes of the freeway.

The deputies are investigating the crash.
