21-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Highway 6

Houston, Texas (September 9, 2020) – A 21-year-old man was killed early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run crash involving two vehicles in Houston, according to police.

The accident was reported shortly before 3:00 a.m., September 8, in the 1700 block of S. Highway 6.

Police said the man was crossing the highway when he stepped off the median and was hit by two northbound vehicles.

Both vehicles fled the scene after the accident.

The man was killed in the accident. His name has not been released.

According to witnesses, the vehicles had just turned onto the highway and might have been racing.

The authorities are looking for the drivers, who if found, will be charged with failure to stop and render aid.
