Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Sam Houston Tollway in Houston

40-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Sam Houston Tollway at Almeda Road

Houston, Texas (June 17, 2021) – According to the deputies, a 40-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Houston.

The deadly accident happened just before 3:00 a.m., on the Sam Houston Tollway, at Almeda Road.

Deputies said the man was struck by a vehicle along the Sam Houston Tollway feeder road.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The authorities are looking for the involved vehicle and the driver.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with any information about the crash is asked to call Harris County Precinct 7’s dispatchers at 713-643-6602.
