Man Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on FM 1960

Harris County, Texas (December 21, 2021) – A man in his 30s was killed early Monday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Harris County, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident happened around 2:30 a.m. December 20, in the 3300 block of FM 1960 near TC Jester.

Deputies said the man was struck by a vehicle on the highway. That vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The man was then struck by a second vehicle as he was lying on the road. That driver called 911 and stayed at the scene.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Deputies said they found pieces and paint of the hit-and-run vehicle.

No other details were provided.

The deputies are investigating the crash.
