63-Year-Old Man Killed in Brownsville Pedestrian Accident on North Expressway 77

Brownsville, Texas (August 26, 2020) – A 63-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident Monday night in Brownsville, according to the Brownsville Police Department.

The deadly accident happened around 10:11 p.m., August 24, in the 1800 block of North Expressway 77 Southbound Frontage Road.

Police said the man was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, on the frontage road.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
