Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on West Cavalcade Street near I-45

Houston, Texas (February 14, 2023) – A man was killed Wednesday evening in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:50 p.m., February 8, on West Cavalcade Street.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the street eastbound when he was struck by a southbound white Ford Hatchback.

The man was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The Ford driver, a 45-year-old woman, did not show signs of intoxication and was questioned and released.

The police are investigating the crash.
