Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on South Post Oak Road in SW Houston

51-Year-Old Man Killed in SW Houston Pedestrian Accident on South Post Oak Road

Houston, Texas (January 6, 2023) – According to the police, a 51-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident Wednesday night in southwest Houston.

The deadly accident happened around 9:00 p.m., January 4, in the 11000 block of South Post Oak Road.

Police said the man was attempting to run across the street when he was struck by a southbound black Kia Optima.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver, a 23-year-old man, remained at the scene and did not show signs of intoxication.

The police are investigating the crash.
